More and more people are ready to #BootBabs. Vote for @JimRutledge! #MDSen #MDcons #MDpolitics

I spotted this letter to the editor about Babs Mikulski. This is from someone who (unlike me) felt that Mikulski actually represented him at some point.

Senator Mikulski is silent on the biggest issues

Where has our representation in Washington gone? Sen. Barbara Mikulski, I ask: What are you for and who do you represent?

It appears that our nation is adrift, being led by selfish ideologues. For years we have voted for you believing that you actually represented us, the people. Today we find we were wrong.
So much is happening so un-American it is frightening. All the while you stand idly by, silent.

We are overrun by illegal aliens and the federal government is lax in dealing with the problem of closing our borders to protect our citizens. While American citizens attempt to protect themselves, our federal government attacks them. This while governing groups from several locales have moved to pass laws becoming so-called sanctuary locations and harbor people who have entered our country illegally, aiding and abetting and harboring criminals. A criminal offense in itself and they are not prosecuted. You say nothing.

For years, you imply that you are the driving force behind our success of NASA. Now as NASA is torn apart and politicized, you say nothing.

The leader of our neighbor, Mexico, comes to our country and criticizes us and our laws while his nation is in utter chaos and you say nothing. Our government spends us into oblivion virtually enslaving our children and grandchildren under crushing tax bills to further the agenda. You say nothing.

Our government appears to be filled with appointed people of questionable character and motivation with the sole goal of wresting complete control of the American people and our way of life. You say nothing.

To me it is evident that you, Sen. Mikulski, no longer represent we the people, and if we are to preserve our life, liberty, pursuit of happiness, self-determination, prosperity, constitutional freedoms and the American dream, we must change directions with the coming November elections.

I believe Sen. Mikulski needs to be voted out in November, as she no longer represents us and has become a walking rubber stamp for the agenda.

“The lasting lesson from this little drama should be that what the press covers and the interpretations therein are not “Deciding What’s News” (in Gans’ phrase), but the results of the values that news purveyors bring to bear on the inexhaustible number of matters and issues coverable.”

Patrick Murray is running against perennial lunatic Jim Moran

Moran exemplifies the worst of what a Congressman can be. I hope Virginia voters finally come this realization and elect Murray.

Meet Patrick Murray (R CAND, VA-08)

Col. Murray is running against the infamous Jim Moran in VA-08, and he took a moment to speak with us today. He’s won his primary, so he’s the official Republican candidate in this district. He also didn’t try to get in my face once during the interview when I asked him a question… something that Moran hadn’t mastered as of this April.

Patrick’s site is here.
