Jimmie Bise: “Be Useful and Don’t be a Jerk” (VIDEO) #MDCAN

Jimmie’s talk at the Turning the Tides conference on the New Media for a New Politics panel:

(By the way, the “uninteresting” USAF vet is O.P. Ditch, a.k.a. @Vets4Sarah, who has more than 2500 Twitter followers.)

#MDCAN Turning the Tides Roundup

Just a round up of items from the MD CAN Turning the Tides Conference

  • A somewhat slanted report on the conference from the Annapolis Capital. (I say “slanted” because I compared it to this article from the same paper on the Occupy movement in Annapolis.)

  • A recording of Red Maryland Radio’s live broadcast from the conference (featuring interviews with David Craig, Jeff Quinton, Fred Grandy, Stacy McCain, Brandon Cooper, Jimmie Bise Jr., Don Irvine and more)

If you find anything else let me know and I’ll link it up here.

Stop me if you’ve heard this…A sleazy lawyer and a muslim walk into a Catholic University…

This is the sort of thing that can make a rational person’s head explode.

[Catholic] University Accused of Discriminating Against Muslims

What part of CATHOLIC University didn’t you understand?

‘The official allegations claim that CUA, “does not provide space – as other universities do – for the many daily prayers Muslim students must make, forcing them instead to find temporarily empty classrooms where they are often surrounded by Catholic symbols which are incongruous to their religion,” according to a press release on PRLOG.com.’

Poor babies. You know who these students should complain to? Middle Eastern Christians.

John H. Banzhaf, the bottom-feeding ambulance-chaser who is helping to perpetuate this absurdity, perfectly embodies the stereotype upon which the snarkiest lawyer jokes are based. He has also filed a lawsuit against CU for its policy of having *gasp* same-sex dormitories. By the way, Mr. Banzhaf, 1995 called. It wants it’s website back.
