50 Examples of Leftist Illogic and Paranoia

It seems Chris Faraone, some leftist no one has ever heard of, while hawking a book no one will buy, promised Andrew Breitbart that he’d give him a list of 50 racist, bigoted, or homophobic things said at CPAC 2012. The list is published today on something called The Phlog. It provides an interesting window into the paranoid liberal mind. To people like this, what someone actually says (in context) isn’t as important as what the twisted, fever-dream imagination of a paranoid thinks they meant.

Obviously, a committed liberal never met a logical fallacy he didn’t like, and practically this entire list falls into the “begging the question” fallacy. Statement [x] by a conservative is bigoted because by definition conservatives are bigots and everything they say is bigotry.

To be extra helpful Faraone has grouped his “examples” of bigotry according to his own unsupported generalizations and assumptions. The following statements by Newt Gingrich made Faraone’s list:

“And we will have an executive order to repeal every act of religious bigotry by the Obama administration.” -Newt Gingrich

“If [Obama] wins reelection, he will wage war on the Catholic Church the morning after he is reelected. We cannot trust him, we know who he really is and we should ensure the country knows who he really is.” -Newt Gingrich

Can you guess under what category of bigotry these statements about Obamacare’s conscience clause fiasco are grouped? It’s obvious really. What Newt is saying here is that, “Obama is a muslim.”  This Faraone guy makes Meghan McCain look like George Will.

Another example of bigotry is the following from Allen West:

“China is still a communist country, which is using capitalism as a weapon against us.” -Allen West

This clear statement of fact is apparently “Asia bashing” because…well..it’s a conservative talking about Asia. Duh.

Faraone likes using quotes from West because as a black man, West is obviously only being used by conservatives as a token. He didn’t really achieve any sort of status or popularity on his own merits or character because–you know–he’s black. So obviously anything West says is bigoted, because he departs from the stereotype liberals demand black people adhere to if they know what’s good for them.

Faraone goes on to list the whole 50 he promised but in reading them, the rational mind becomes even more convinced that the left, who fancy themselves to be the enlightened intelligentsia, define bigotry as whatever they disagree with. Faraone has done a great service in compiling his list because he has exposed the left for what they really are–irrational, intellectually dishonest, and guilty of far more bigotry than those they accuse.

If you need a laugh, read the whole list here: A List of 50 Sexist, Bigoted, and Homophobic Comments from CPAC 2012, as Promised to Andrew Breitbart

Utah Loves Dan Bongino

Remember when Mia Love came on the scene with this video?

Now she has done Maryland a favor and endorsed Dan Bongino for U.S. Senate. Love’s endorsement follows her fellow Utahn U.S. Senator Mike Lee’s endorsement. Utah loves Dan Bongino. Let’s hope some of the good folks in Utah will send Dan some campaign contributions!

Severna Park, Maryland- Mia Love, candidate for the 4th Congressional District of Utah, has endorsed Dan Bongino, candidate for U.S. Senate in Maryland.

“I first learned about Dan when he was being covered for a segment on Fox News.  I was amazed by his story and the passion he has for the state of Maryland,” said Mia Love.  “If we are going to change the way Washington operates, we need to start by electing folks like Dan Bongino.”

As a former city councilwoman and mayor of Saratoga Springs, Mia Love led the city through an astonishing period of 1700% population growth in just over ten years.  Under her leadership, she reduced residential property taxes and was able to achieve the highest municipal rating available for a city of its class.  She continues to live in Saratoga Springs with her husband, Jason, and their 3 children.

“The people of the 4th Congressional District are fortunate to have such a great candidate in Mayor Love,” said Bongino.  “I look forward to working with her next year as we limit government, increase liberties, and stimulate economic growth by lowering the crippling restraints that government currently puts on our businesses.”

Dan Bongino, a devoted husband and father, served in the United States Secret Service for more than a decade, in which he was assigned to the elite Presidential Protective Division. He represented the U.S. as a lead government security official in over 25 countries. Holding graduate degrees in Business Administration and Psychology, Dan has gone on to start several successful businesses in Maryland. As an entrepreneur, he understands the role small businesses play in establishing a framework for continued prosperity and economic growth.
