Who to believe? The Pope, or President ‘If you like your plan, you can keep it?’

Probably hoping that some of Pope Francis’ 76% approval ratings would rub off on him, President Obama visited the popular pontiff at the Vatican today. Naturally, there was some controversy.

To get in front of the spin, the Vatican wastes no time releasing statements about meetings with politicians. (Just askĀ Nancy Pelosi.) The president tried to downplay discussion of Obamacare’s encroachment on religious liberty but that didn’t quite match up with the official statement from the Holy See.

Who to believe?

Yeah, pretty much.
